Das National Memorial Concert fand am ersten Jahrestag der Terroranschläge in Norwegen am 22. Juli 2011 statt. 2911 kam es in der Nähe eines Regierungsgebäudes im Zentrum der norwegischen Hauptstadt Oslo zu einer schweren Explosion. 
Etwa zwei Stunden später begann auf der Insel Utøya ein Anschlag auf ein Feriencamp der Jugendorganisation der sozialdemokratischen Arbeiderpartiet. Der Täter schoss etwa 90 Minuten mit einer halbautomatischen Waffe auf die unbewaffneten Opfer. Dabei wurden nach Angaben der Polizei 68 Menschen getötet.
