Presseschau zur Veröffentlichung:

"If there's any justice 'White Lines' should help push this veteran backing musician front and center, where she belongs."
- Tom Sinclair, Entertainment Weekly, April 18, 2003

"Tyrell's pleasantly throaty voice makes for some memorable moments."
- Alan Light, Blender, May 2003

Lovely... Tyrell's assured vocals give the music a singular stamp."
- Steve Wine, Associated Press, April 7, 2003

"The title track proves a fine piece of driving music, and the wistful 'Ste. Genevieve' is rooted in countrified charm."
- Jeff Vrabel, Chicago Sun-Times, March 30, 2003

"Soozie Tyrell has made a career of backing A-list musicians such as Sheryl Crow, Shawn Colvin and, most noticeably, Bruce Springsteen. But with one spin of her debut record 'White Lines' on Treasure Records (it¹s clear) she can easily handle center stage all by herself. She uses (violin) to add warmth and texture to rock and folk songs. She's also a singer and a storyteller, with a knack for using memories for something other than nostalgia."
- Kelly Jane Cotter, Asbury Park Press, April 4, 2003
